Colombia: Security priorities to shift under Duque

When Iván Duque is sworn in as Colombia’s new president on 7 August, the country’s security policies are going to shift in a somewhat more right-wing direction. How far and how big the shift will be is not fully known, nor is it yet clear how it will affect existing and potential future peace agreements with the country’s various rebel and criminal groups.
