Colombia: Colombia’s President Iván Duque has announced that he will present his national economic reactivation plan in September. A key element of the plan is to encourage the creation of small businesses that will generate employment, by eliminating the formalities that complicate the process of setting up a business. President Duque made the announcement during a visit to the Valle del Cauca department, during which he attended the Festival of the Orange Economy, amongst other events. The so-called ‘orange economy’ (creative economy) is a sector that Duque has promised to develop in Colombia.
