Venezuela: Migrant crisis continues to unfold
Along with Brazil and Colombia, Ecuador is now also struggling to deal with the Venezuelan migrant crisis, which has been intensifying over the Andean winter months. The government led by President Lenín Moreno has now clearly pivoted away from his predecessor’s previously unconditional support of Caracas, and is becoming more openly critical of the Nicolás Maduro administration.
