Paraguay: PCC kingpin arrested in Paraguay
A wanted leader of Brazilian criminal organisation Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) has been arrested by law enforcement officials in Paraguay. The arrest has been hailed as coup against organised crime. However, it has also been taken as a further worrying sign of the growing presence of the PCC in Paraguay and its attempts to infiltrate the country’s institutions.
