What future for the education reform under López Obrador?

Corruption, low quality, and bureaucracy have historically characterised Mexico’s education system. Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who will assume the presidency of Mexico on 1 December, has permanently criticised the education reform of 2012-2013, implemented by the current government led by President Enrique Peña Nieto, and during his electoral campaign López Obrador declared that after assuming the presidency he would cancel Peña Nieto’s education reform.
