Deeply disenchanted voters

That the three Northern Triangle republics have formally democratic systems, despite their flaws and shortcomings, has to be seen as a positive. Yet one sign of the malaise they are suffering is that their voters are showing disenchantment with what this formally democratic system is actually delivering, and indeed, with the benefits of democracy itself.
