COLOMBIA | Tourism up. Last month Colombia’s commerce, industry & tourism ministry (Mincit) reported that over 4.6m international travellers visited Colombia in the first seven months of 2018, up 32.92% compared with the same period in 2017. The number of international cruise passengers in particular grew sharply, from around 3,300 in July 2017 to nearly 6,000 in July this year, which represents a 79.84% increase.
