López Obrador’s environmental wishlist

As his 1 December inauguration nears, Mexico’s President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador is generating reams of policy papers that give an indication as to how his government will operate. Two documents released in June and July provide a detailed outline of his environmental policy, yet while they cover a huge amount of ground and address a number of key policy areas, they have been met with scepticism in some quarters.
