Macri gov’t forced into economic policy U-turn in Argentina

Development: On 10 October the Argentine government led by President Mauricio Macri announced that it was reversing its recent decision to retroactively increase natural gas tariffs and that it would now assume the full costs of losses incurred by gas production and distribution firms resulting from the sharp devaluation of the peso rather than pass it on to consumers.
