Brazilian gangs’ escape plans foiled
The Paraguayan authorities successfully thwarted two prison break plans in the first week of October alone, through effective collaboration with Brazil’s security and intelligence forces. The separate escape plans were orchestrated by Brazil’s two most powerful criminal organisations, the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and the Comando Vermelho (CV).
