Mesa and Revilla forge opposition alliance in Bolivia

Development: On 30 October, Bolivia’s former president, Carlos Mesa (2003-2005), of the opposition Frente Revolucionario de Izquierda (FRI) party, and the leader of the Soberanía y Libertad para Bolivia (Sol.bo) opposition group and current mayor of La Paz, Luís Revilla, came to an agreement to form an electoral alliance named ‘Ciudadan@s’ to contest the 2019 general election.
