* Workers from Argentina’s state airline Aerolíneas Argentinas have resumed work after an 11-hour strike which resulted in the cancellation of over 250 national and international flights and left at least 31,000 passengers stranded in airports across the country. The strike was led by unions such as Asociación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas and Unión de Aviadores de Líneas Aéreas, among others, over concerns regarding salaries and the rise in inflation (currently running at 40% per annum). At the time of writing the details regarding the decision by airline workers to resume activities had not been made public.
