* Chile’s central bank (BCCh) has released new figures which show that year-on-year GDP growth for the third quarter of 2018 was 2.8%, down from 5.4% the previous quarter. The most recent (October 2018) figures from the United Nations (UN) Economic Commission for Latin America & Caribbean (Eclac) forecast 3.9% growth for Chile for 2018.
