Duque gov’t U-turn on tax reform in Colombia

Development: On 21 November, Colombian legislators announced that the government led by President Iván Duque had agreed to backtrack on parts of its proposed tax reform, and that it would not extend the value-added tax (VAT) to more products in the basic basket of goods.
