* Colombia’s national statistics agency (Dane) has released the latest unemployment figures, which show that the unemployment rate stood at 9.1% in October, a 0.4 percentage point decrease compared to September, and a 0.5 percentage point increase compared to October 2017. According to Dane, the economically active population totalled 23.1m in October this year, with 2.3m unemployed and 13.6m inactive.
