* Colombia’s national statistics agency (Dane) has released its latest export figures, which show that Colombian exports increased by 15.8% year-on-year in October 2018. Exports for October totalled US$3.79bn, driven by sales of fuel and extractives, which grew by 27% year-on-year and represented 61.4% of total exports in October 2018. Exports for the ten months to October 2018 totalled an accumulated US$35.1bn, a 14% year-on-year increase. The US and China are the two principal destinations of Colombian exports (21.7% and 17% of total exports respectively).
