Consolidating relations with Peru

Relations between Chile and Peru had more than a century of friction dating back to the late nineteenth century’s War of the Pacific (1879-1884). Today, with more than two decades of strong commercial and migratory exchange, the authorities of both countries celebrated for the second year running a binational cabinet meeting, where agreements that look to the future and over the ocean were signed.
