* Ecuador’s President Lenín Moreno has announced that China has agreed a US$900m loan to Ecuador at the “lowest interest rate in history” (without specifying what it was). President Moreno, who made his announcement during a trip to China, added that Ecuador had also received a US$69.3m loan at a 2% interest rate for “reconstruction” and US$30m in “non-refundable” assistance.
