* Brazil’s national statistics agency (IBGE) has released the latest figures of its consumer price index (IPCA) which show that monthly inflation in December 2018 was 0.15%. Annual inflation closed at 3.75% in 2018, up from 2.95% in 2017, and within the 4.5% target set by the federal government.
