* The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has revised its 2019 GDP growth projection for Brazil down to 1.9%, from 2.1% last November, amid slowing global economic growth. The OECD notes that a moderate economic recovery is underway in Brazil, but it underscores that the government will need to be successful in implementing its reform agenda, particularly an overhaul of the pensions system, for the country to see “a stronger revival of growth”.
