* Ecuador’s energy & non-renewable energy ministry has announced that the government has received over US$1.28bn through five sales of petrol on the spot market since September 2017, exporting a total of 20.36m barrels of crude. Pablo Flores, the general manager of Ecuador’s state-owned oil company EP Petroecuador, said he was expecting the revenue from sales via this market would exceed US$3.15bn by 2024.
