* Chilean airline Sky, has started offering low-cost flights on seven domestic routes in Peru. Flights will run between Lima and the touristic cities of Arequipa (Arequipa region), Cusco (Cusco), Iquitos (Loreto), Piura (Piura), Pucallpa (Ucayali), Tarapoto (San Martín), and Trujillo (La Libertad). According to the airline, prices are kept down by new fuel-efficient Airbus A320neo aircraft. Sky Airline Peru’s executive director José Raúl Vargas estimates that by the end of 2019 the company will have transported 900,000 passengers, obtaining 7% of Peru's domestic air travel market.
