Piñera under fire over ID checks for minors

Chile’s President Sebastián Piñera took office a year ago assuring that children will come first in his government. Yet he recently presented a draft bill that would allow the police to stop and control minors as young as 14, a measure which violates children’s rights, according to the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef).
