In brief: Bolivia

* The general manager of airport services in Bolivia (SABSA), Milton Carlos, has reported that the institution will spend more than US$8m on modernising infrastructure in the airports in the departments of La Paz, Cochabamba, and Santa Cruz. The investments will include upgrades to equipment, monitoring, and security cameras. Carlos added that since the nationalisation of SABSA in 2013, investment in the three airports has increased from US$2m to US$25m.
