* Infraestructura Marina del Golfo, a joint venture (JV) between TC Energía and IEnova, the local subsidiaries of US firms TC Energy Corporation and Sempra Energy respectively, has announced the completion of a major gas pipeline between the US and Mexico. The 772km pipeline now connects the cities of Brownsville in the US state of Texas and Altamira in Mexico's Tamaulipas state. The project represents nearly US$2.5bn in infrastructure investments to provide natural gas to electric power generation plants, industrial clients, and urban centres and it is expected to increase Mexico’s current natural gas import capacity by 40% according to a statement by TC Energía.
