Immigration deal dodges US tariff threat – for now

In June, Mexico’s short-term economic outlook was like a yo-yo. It worsened sharply, and then improved, as the US proposed, but then withdrew, a threat of punitive tariffs. The bad news is that uncertainty over trade with the US is likely to continue.
