BRAZIL: Press freedom worries amid ‘Vaza Jato’ hacking scandal

On 27 July, the Brazilian association of investigative journalism (Abraji) condemned President Jair Bolsonaro for “[promoting and instigating] serious attacks on the freedom of expression” by suggesting that US journalist Glenn Greenwald could be arrested. Other press organisations, political parties, and judicial groups also joined in the criticism.
