According to energy ministry figures, Ecuador exported 37.19m barrels of oil, equivalent to US$2.23bn in the first six months of 2019. The minister for energy & non-renewable natural resources,
Carlos Pérez, explained:
“Presently we are reaching a production rate close to 545,000 barrels of oil daily. Our goal for 2021 is to reach 580,000 barrels. Under this premise we will continue increasing our exports”.
