CHILE: Pollution peaks, Greenpeace points finger at gov’t

On 30 July, environmental NGO Greenpeace condemned the Chilean government for being “complicit” in the pollution of the coastal Quintero-Puchuncaví area in  Valparaíso Region, caused by decades of unregulated industrial activity.
