In brief: Mexico reduces growth forecast

* Mexico’s finance ministry has adjusted its 2019 GDP growth forecast following second quarter (Q2) results. After figures were released indicating only a 0.1% quarter-on-quarter growth in Q2, the finance ministry reduced its 2019 GDP growth estimate to 1.1%, 0.9 percentage points lower than its original 2% projection.
