Luisa María Alcalde, in Mexico City to establish a Mexico-Canada Bilateral Labour Working Group to facilitate cooperation and implementation of new labour policies and standards. Canada’s ambassador to Mexico,
Pierre Alarie, said:
“We recognise the enormous effort Mexico has made in its commitment to strengthening the labour market”. The new working group will provide assistance to Mexico in implementing further reforms.
