Caricom leaders rail against blacklisting

The leaders of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) met in St Lucia from 3-5 July for their 40th heads of government conference. Two issues, in particular, dominated their thoughts: lack of progress on the Caricom Single Market and Economy (CSME) and the blacklisting of several member states as tax-havens by the European Union (EU) and the naming of some by the US as “major money-laundering centres”.
