In brief: Mexico opens international business centre

* Mexico’s economy minister Graciela Márquez Colín and Valentín Díez Morodo, the president of Mexico’s business council of foreign trade, investment and technology (Comce), have opened a new international business centre (Cisne) in Mexico City. The centre aims to promote exports, promote innovation, attract foreign investment and enable greater financial inclusion. Márquez Colín noted: “Since the beginning of the new government…the ministry of economy has made efforts to renew the strategy for the promotion of Mexico in the international economy, based on the fundamentals of diversification, inclusion, and innovation”.
