In brief: Mexico’s unemployment rate is 3.6% in August

* Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has released new figures which show the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for August was 3.6% – unchanged since the previous month. The data also show an increase year-on-year, however, as the figure for August 2018 was 3.3%.
