In brief: Panama Canal tonnage up 6.2% in FY2019
* The Panama Canal authority (ACP) has announced that the Panama Canal has ended the 2019 fiscal year with a record tonnage of 469m Panama Canal/ Universal Measurement System tonnes (PC/UMSt). This represents an increase of 6.2% compared with FY2018. The FY2019 figure exceeds the 450.7m PC/UMSt projection.
