In brief: World Bank reduces Mexico’s growth forecast

* The World Bank has reduced its 2019 GDP growth forecast for Mexico to 0.6%, down from 1.7% previously. In a recent report on Latin America entitled ‘Trade Integration as Pathways for Development’, the World Bank notes that Mexico’s deceleration is expected to continue amid “sluggish, almost absent economic growth” across the region.
