* Brazil’s state-owned oil company Petrobras has reported its production results for the third quarter of 2019, which presented an overall 9.3% increase on the previous quarter. Production of oil, liquefied natural gas (LGN), and natural gas totalled an average 2.88m barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed). Production in the deep-water ‘pre-salt’ area, which now accounts for over 60% of oil production in Brazil, increased by 17%. Petrobras expects to be on track to meet its 2.7m boed production target in 2019.
