In brief: Paraguay’s growth forecast cut to 0.2%

* Paraguay’s central bank (BCP) has lowered its domestic economic growth forecast for 2019, from 1.5% to 0.2%. The BCP attributes this downward revision to a sharp fall in the agriculture sector, in particular the production of soya, which was affected by bad weather conditions and global uncertainty as a result of trade tensions.
