Roosevelt looking for resounding victory in Dominica

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit’s Dominica Labour Party (DLP) has been in power since 2000, when it ousted the United Workers Party (UWP), with Skerrit becoming prime minister in January 2004 on the death of Pierre Charles (2000-2004). Since then Skerrit has led the DLP to three more general election victories, in 2005, 2009, and 2014, and his appetite seems undiminished as he heads towards a fourth general election as DLP leader, due by March 2020.
