In brief: Honduras’s IMAE up 2.2% in September 2019 year-on-year

* Honduras’s central bank (BCH) has released new figures for its monthly economic activity index (IMAE) which show a 2.2% increase for September 2019 year-on-year. This compares with a 3.8% increase in September 2018. The most recent (November 2019) projections from the United Nations Economic Commission on Latin America & the Caribbean (Eclac) forecast 2.9% GDP growth for Honduras in 2019.
