In brief: Chile’s GDP up 3.3% in Q3

* Chile’s central bank (BCCh) has released new figures which show Chile’s GDP was up 3.3% in the third quarter of 2019 year-on-year. This compares with 2.6% growth registered in the same period in 2018. According to the BCCh, the increase in GDP in Q3 2019 was caused by an increase in activity in the personal services and business services and, to a lesser extent, construction sectors.
