In late September, the Inter-American Commission for Human Rights (IACHR) published a report on the forced migration of Nicaraguans to Costa Rica as a result of the crackdown by the Nicaraguan government led by President Daniel Ortega on its opponents which began in mid-April 2018. Here we review some of the report’s key findings.
