In brief: Bolivia’s November inflation more than doubles

* Bolivia’s national statistics institute (INE) has released its latest monthly inflation figures which show this reached 1.11% in November, compared with 0.45% in October 2019. This brings the 12-month figure to 3.41% for November compared with 2.54% in October 2019. The rise in inflation has been attributed to the social and political crisis which erupted following the October 2019 general election which forced Evo Morales to resign as President.
