In brief: Argentina’s central bank president resigns

* The head of Argentina’s central bank (BCRA) Guido Sandleris has announced his resignation. He said that the move would be effective as of 9 December, the day before Alberto Fernández assumes the presidency, marking a return to Peronism for the country. Sanderlis had been in the post since September 2018. His replacement has yet to be named.
