In brief: Honduras’ exports down 7.1%

* Honduras’s central bank (BCH) has released new figures which show exports in the first nine months of 2019 reached US$$3.25bn, down 7.1% on the same period in 2018. Meanwhile imports totalled US$7.5bn, down 4.2% on the same period in 2018. This has left a trade deficit of US$4.26bn, down US$83.8m on the same period in 2018.
