In brief: Brazil’s annual inflation increases to 3.27%

* According to Brazil’s national statistics institute (Ibge) the consumer price index (IPCA) rose by 0.51% in November. This brings accumulated inflation to 3.12% for January-November 2019. Inflation over the last 12 months now stands at 3.27%, up from 2.54% in the 12 months to October 2019.
