* The World Bank’s Global Economic Prospects report has forecast GDP growth of 3.6% for Colombia in 2020, double the 1.8% average predicted for Latin America and the Caribbean as a whole. The report notes that growth in Colombia was relatively insulated from the volatility of its neighbours in 2019, and it expects investment in infrastructure projects to be a major driver of growth this year.
