* Citibanamex, the Mexican unit of Citigroup Inc, expects Mexico’s GDP growth to be negative in the fourth quarter of 2019 following the release of negative figures for the country’s economic activity index in November 2019. Citibanamex forecasts a quarter-on-quarter contraction of 0.1% in Q4 2019, and a yearly contraction of 0.3% for the same period. Citibanamex has confirmed its forecast of a 0.1% annual contraction in Mexico’s 2019 GDP, expected to pick up with 1% growth in 2020.
