According to Environment Minister
Fabiola Muñoz, the fundamental goal is for everything that is produced to eventually
“become an input in the next production process”. The road map outlines short- and long-term actions in four categories: sustainable industrial production, sustainable consumption, use of waste material, and innovation. Muñoz claimed that even extractive industries will eventually be integrated into this circular economic model.
