MEXICO: López Obrador dismisses official economic forecasts
On 2 April Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador openly disagreed with the latest 2020 GDP growth forecast made by the federal finance ministry (SHCP), insisting that he is “optimistic” about Mexico’s economic prospects this year.
